I am a frequent reader over at another CNM-to-be's blog At Your Cervix and noticed that she has done something quite clever on her blog. She has listed all of her classes - past, present, and future in the right hand sidebar. I love her idea! A great way to see where you have been, where you are now, and where you are going. So folks, here is where I've been, where I am now, and where I'm going! Baring any schedule/class changes, or school changes, here is what lies ahead of me! What a great way to countdown and keep motivated!

Hi Amber!
I just wanted to say hello. I'm a fellow nursing student, in my first semester of an ADN program, dreaming of an MSN and someday being a midwife.
It's an incredibly long road, but I often find myself doing what you just did, and focusing on what I have accomplished so far.
Hope things are well, and I'm always checking for updates!
As a CNM who trained in the UK nearly 40 years ago, and has been working in Israel for over 30, I have been wondering [1] what sort of maternity services are available for Native American women on the reservation, and [2] what particular cultural needs they have, if any. Just curious: in my career I have had a really multicultural clientele, but I don't think I have ever cared for a Native American woman!
